Grove Fruit Juice is one of the largest Australian family-owned fresh fruit processors in Australia. We are Australian farming families crafting premium juice straight from our groves. Our brands include Grove Juice, Boost Juice, and Only Juice, as well as an extensive private label portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Identify improvement opportunities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of current processes using various tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads and team members to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
  • Develop a strategic plan for process improvements aligned with business objectives.

Lead improvement projects:

  • Oversee the execution of process improvement projects from inception to completion.
  • Utilise Lean Six Sigma or other relevant methodologies to guide project teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Data analysis and reporting

  • Gather, analyse, and interpret data to monitor process performance and identify trends.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on project status and outcomes.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Engage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure buy-in and support for process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on process improvement principles and techniques.
  • Continuous improvement culture
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.

Encourage and mentor employees to identify and implement improvements in their areas of responsibility.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Major preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Process design, process calculations, PIDs and datasheets experience.
  • Ability to provide detailed flow descriptions.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions and problem solve.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment.

We would also consider Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt acceptable, Black Belt preferred) and experience in FMCG operations (Manufacturing) as highly desirable.
