The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join a rapidly growing, high performing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of their financial and operational systems, providing insights that enhance our business performance and drive our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes across multiple global sites to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

· Identify and assess areas of risk, developing and implementing audit plans to address these risks effectively.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress.

· Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring that our audit processes remain current and robust.

· Mentor and provide guidance to junior auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

· Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.

· Perform SOX 404 testing to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of key controls.

· Develop and update SOX documentation, including process narratives, risk control matrices, and test scripts.

Your Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external audit.

· Strong understanding of financial and operational auditing principles and practices.

· Extensive knowledge and experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
