About the Role

Based in BYD's Sydney office, this role will report to the Director of the Aftersales team in Australia and work closely with the Aftersales Team in the APAC region.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Adjudicate warranty claims and pre-work authorization.
• Monitor and Report vehicle failure trends and dealer service operation issues through Business intelligence tools, flag areas of improvement, and provide feedback.
• Manage on-claims to suppliers & and follow-ups to achieve desired outcomes for both the business & and customers.
• Support Aftersales team on Recall & Service Campaign management.
• Lead the continuous development of Warranty policy and guidelines.
• Assist with the development of the Dealer Management System & and claim system.
• Support Aftersales Operations Manager in ad-hoc complex warranty topics and projects involving internal and external stakeholders.

About you:

• Strong experience within insurance, claims, warranties, or after-sales environments would be preferred.
• Sound understanding of vehicle components and repair procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, systems, and BI tools are preferred.
• Full work rights in Australia.
