With over 100 skilled employees, including Welders, Fitters, Machinists, Draftspersons, Trades Assistants, and support personnel, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Welder (First Class) to join our expanding workshop in Mackay.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful applicant should demonstrate the following skills:

1. Minimum 1 year relevant industry experience as a Welder (First Class) or similar welding trade
2. Trade qualification as a Welder (First Class), Boilermaker/Welder, or equivalent welding trade qualification.
3. Experience in the repair and refurbishment of hydraulic cylinders and components is highly regarded
4. Proficiency in MIG welding (solid wire and flux-cored welding)
5. Experience with ID welders and rotators (desirable but not essential)
6. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
7. Experience fabricating, repairing and finishing welded metal components
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality standards
11. Current driver's licence and reliable transport

Desirable Qualifications

1. Forklift Licence
2. Dogging and/or Rigging Licence
