Your Role:

As an Assistant Broker with Dashdot, you will be at the forefront of the mortgage lending process, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of loan applications from submission to approval. Your meticulous attention to detail, deep understanding of lending regulations, and dedication to client service will be instrumental in supporting borrowers through every stage of the application journey.

As part of this role you will need to have experience working with complex loans including SMSF and equity based lending and be able to demonstrate knowledge and capability within the mortgage and lending space.

This role will likely change and evolve as the company grows, but will always seek to serve our mission to transform the way Australia invests and become the number one property investment company in Australia by the end of the decade.

From day one, you will have a massive impact on the reputation of our business, and a lasting influence on our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be the key liaison between Dashdot and lenders to negotiate favourable terms and conditions on behalf of clients.
• Partnering with the Client Success team to understand clients goals by assessing their mortgage needs and providing tailored, appropriate credit solutions
• Assist in conducting thorough analysis of client financials to determine suitable lending options.
• Prepare loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting mortgage lending.
• Meet sales and other related targets set by the business
• Provide exceptional client service throughout the mortgage application process by addressing client inquiries and concerns through the Client Success Manager and Loan Concierge
• Work with Loan Concierge to ensure lodgement of accurate, compliant and quality loan applications.
• At times, assisting with projects that fall outside of the above responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
• Accreditation with industry bodies like the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) or the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).
• Experience working with complex loans including SMSF and equity based lending.
• Demonstrated experience in the mortgage and lending space.
• Thorough knowledge of lending products, loan configurations, and credit evaluation procedures.
• Experience in negotiating and communicating with various lenders.
• Highly self motivated and organised.
• Forward thinking and innovative.
