About the role:

We’re on the hunt for a Campaign Ideas Managerto join ourStudio teambased in Sydney. This role is responsible for the development of successful creative campaigns, working with a vast array of cross platform assets to create bespoke solutions for clients. Working with ‘The Studio’, this role is well-suited for a creative and strategic mind, looking to embark on the next step of their career. As ‘The Studio’ is SCA’s commercially creative services function, the individual holding this role needs to have experience in project management (ideally Brief Response and/or Activation of campaigns) and be able to identify problems and remain solutions-focused while working collaboratively across all teams.

The Campaign Ideas Manager is primarily responsible for working with the Lead Campaign Ideas Manager, directing the full campaign process, interpreting briefs, developing creative solutions, pitching campaigns in market and driving innovation and excellence in audio.  The role is designed to successfully oversee a campaign idea from conception to execution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Direct Campaign Ideas responses, leading a working group from brief to pitch with a strategic, creative approach.  
  • Establish the detail required to pitch ideas, knowing that it is important for us to be able to deliver what we pitch, working under the direction of the Lead Campaign Ideas Manager.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders within the business across content, digital and sales to receive, interpret and respond to briefs from direct clients and agency partners in market.
  • Work with Lead Campaign Ideas Manager and Account Managers to develop pitch execution for responses, facilitating brainstorms, remaining up to date on market trends and pushing for innovation.
  • Work with the Insights Director to produce campaignable insight driven solutions that deliver on the client objectives and in turn, drive revenue for SCA.
  • Research pricing, approvals, logistics and other such details that allow for concepted ideas to be able to be delivered.
  • Work with Campaign Creative resources (i.e. designers, video producers, writers, commercial producers) to develop assets that enhance the pitch process or deliver materials for sold campaign ideas.
  • Remain responsible for the contribution to development of all Case Studies relating to work produced by ‘The Studio’ with the assistance and collaboration of the other members of ‘The Studio’ Leadership team.
  • Participate in regular on-site and off-site sessions relating to the national function of ‘The Studio’.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in the Media/Digital industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Advertising, PR or related fields desirable.
  • Experience driving creative briefs from conception to formal market pitching.
  • Ability to contribute to cross-functional collaboration with the Campaign Ideas teams and their stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, with strong creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to deal with staff and clients at all levels.
