The Role

In this role you’ll be given a large degree of autonomy to run one of our five digital marketing teams (known internally as pods). You’ll be managing a multi-disciplinary team between 5-7 people, across any of the following roles: Account management, SEO, Paid, Email & Digital Media. You’ll sit across all clients assigned to your team (5-15 clients), and be responsible for leading the client strategy and operations to ensure we are always delivering value.

As the leader of the team you’ll be organised, able to spin multiple plates at once, be a natural people person and able to step straight in-front of clients. Most importantly, you'll be able to inspire and lead by example in line with Reload's authentic leadership model.

You’ll have the chance to run the team like your own mini digital marketing agency, and be expected to take ownership for the outcomes of your team, as well as your client's digital marketing results. You will have the opportunity to work across an exceptionally vast scope, so be ready for no two days to be the same. This could be anything from working with your team, meeting with clients, running workshops and diving into digital marketing campaigns.

What This Means You'll Be Doing

Client Engagement & Marketing Strategy

• Meeting clients, and partnering effectively with them to create impactful marketing strategies
• Onboarding new clients with your team
• Assisting the team to grow existing client scope
• Ensuring clients remain satisfied and happy

Business Leadership & Operations

• Managing your team's overall client revenue and retention
• Driving business performance for your team
• Monitoring workloads
• Being a supportive leader & team player - be ready to get your hands dirty... our leaders are on the tools, too!

Team Leadership

• Instilling a strong team culture
• Managing the performance of the individuals in your team
• Regular team engagement in both 1-1 and team settings
• Recruitment when it's time for your team to grow
• Co-creating a custom career pathway for each of your team members
• Daily performance coaching & feedback to drive performance & employee retention

Who We're Looking For

• A team player who thrives in taking on new challenges
• 2 + years experience in a leadership role. This could be either an agency, professional services or marketing role. All applicants with varied leadership experience encouraged to apply
• Extensive client facing experience
• Track record of delivering the best possible outcomes to clients or stakeholders
• Strong business and marketing understanding to be able to work with the team to develop digital marketing strategies for clients
• A people person who can quickly gain buy-in from a new team, and has the ability to unite a team under a shared vision
• Can handle multiple clients, team members and responsibility in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Confidence to walk into client meetings, presentations and pitches straight away
• A sense of accountability to be self-directed to research issues and solve problems - we’re looking for someone who can act like an owner
• A clear written and verbal communicator, who demonstrates a close attention-to-detail - whether that’s avoiding typos in emails/reports, to being able to ensure nothing is missed for a client.

This role would be in our leadership team, so we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate a proven track record in a leadership capacity. Ideally you will be able to show you’ve had previous exposure across the following areas:

• Leading the engagement with key clients or stakeholders
• Developing (i.e. one-to-one, performance management, etc.) and training team members
• Overseeing teams or leading direct reports
• Commercial exposure and application - ie. improving the service or results for clients, developing processes or increasing business performance
• Being accountable to KPIs or key business metrics

Salary: We're open to various experience levels, with an offer range between $80,000- $100,000 + Super & Phone Contract. Offer will be based on professional experience.
