The Role

We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to fill the role of Events & Marketing Coordinator. The successful applicant will play a central role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of events, including the event sales function. The position will also require someone with a creative mindset and marketing flare to be the onsite marketing resource to implement promotional events, capture venue content for marketing strategies, host social media influencers, ensure all venue print or digital material adheres to brand guidelines and implement activities to engage with the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive event sales leads to the venue.
• Provide end-to-end management and control of all events at the venue.
• Collaborate with the marketing management team to execute venue marketing campaigns and initiatives in accordance with marketing activity calendars.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and clients.
• Manage social media platforms and report on social media performance.
• Monitor venue communications and marketing material to ensure adherance to brand guidelines.
• Play a leadership role to a high quality customer experiences.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in events and functions management is essential.
• Experience in working with event software programs to manage the end-to-end process of events.
• Proficient in social media management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
