To support this expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and meticulous Inventory Planner / Demand Planner to join our Sydney team.

Job Summary: The Inventory Planner / Demand Planner will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless availability of our products. This position involves strategic forecasting, meticulous planning, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Your contributions will be pivotal in supporting our ambitious growth and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Forecasting: Develop and refine demand forecasts to align with sales targets and market trends, ensuring accurate and actionable insights.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, maintaining a delicate balance to support sales and service goals.
• Data-Driven Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and historical performance to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
• Supplier Coordination: Ensure timely product deliveries by coordinating with suppliers and resolving any supply chain disruptions.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory status, forecast accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Inventory Distribution:  Coordinate with fulfilment centres to optimise inventory management according to demand fluctuations.
• Multi-Location Forecasting: Proficiency in running forecast and replenishment models for multiple locations.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an inventory planner, demand planner, or similar role, with a track record of successful inventory management.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in inventory management software and tools. Proficiency in CIN7 is a plus
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Organizational Abilities: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
