Chamberlains Law Firm is currently seeking a Lawyer to join our Corporate & Commercial Team in Canberra.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Lawyer to join our Canberra office. Ideally candidates will have at least 3 years PQE and be looking to progress their career to the next level.

You will have excellent mentoring from a highly experienced Director. You will have the opportunity to get hands on experience with transactions, sales, structuring and start-ups with a balance of supervision and autonomy.

A sample of the type of work you will assist on is as follows:

• Advising on foreign investments and corporate structures for companies domiciled in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands;
• Buying and selling luxury resorts in Queensland;
• Establishing an Australian sales and distribution network for a world class Swiss medical manufacturer;
• Launching an Australian start-up for drone manufacturing for major export markets;
• Buying and selling businesses in the fashion, technology, real estate, beauty, construction and transport industries;
• Advising on intellectual property protection and portfolio management - including trade marks, patents and design rights;
• Advising on regulations concerning artificial intelligence and crypto currency.

You will have direct client engagement and work closely with Senior Lawyers and Directors within a supportive and energetic team.
