You are a coordination extraordinaire with an eye for detail.  About the Role   Reporting to the Manager: Domestic Student Recruitment, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities for increased contact and promotion of the University’s values, services, programs and distinctive attributes to prospective students. You will coordinate the University’s secondary schools and other prospective student outreach programs and contribute to the development and implementation of student recruitment marketing activities.  About the Communications and Marketing Unit  The Communications and Marketing Unit’s (CMK) role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance the understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution’s brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.  The Domestic Student Recruitment (DSR) team is responsible for managing the University’s domestic prospective student outreach programs and communications. The team engage with secondary schools, attend career evenings, organise a variety of events, manage stakeholder relationships, conducts the annual Open Day series and provides an enquiry management service for prospective students. The DSR team manages University wide activity at the ‘one-to-one’ end of the student decision making process.  Essential Skills and Experience  Experience in the development of marketing or public relations plans targeted at specific audiences with a particular reference to the youth market  Proven coordination, planning and supervision skills, including the ability to manage budgets, supervise staff and build effective teams  High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to conduct effective presentations, negotiate, work productively in a team environment, and relate to various internal and external stakeholders  Experience in coordinating stakeholder relationship management programs and tailored communications utilising a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system  Demonstrated experience in event management and the preparation and production of high quality promotional and information-based materials  Familiarity with the school system and previous experience with youth-oriented services and promotions  Benefits  Getting a great job working with the best is just the start.
