Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our client's team. In this role, you will specialize in managing marketing efforts across the company website and social media channels. You will also be responsible for the preparation and presentation of consumer events, helping to showcase travel experiences to potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for our website and social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality visuals and promotional materials.
- Coordinate and assist in the planning and execution of consumer events, including travel expos, webinars, and community outreach programs.
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials for consumer events, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and objectives.
- Assist in the management of marketing budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the travel industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and website management.
- Creative thinking with a passion for travel and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus.
