About the Role:
- Responsible for planning and purchasing finished goods and components to support customer requirements, while managing International and local suppliers for On-Time-Delivery at competitive pricing.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory, and support Sales and Marketing in achieving business goals.
- Maintain data integrity of ERP Supplier Master, track supplier performance, and participate in Supplier business reviews.
- Act as primary interface for purchasing support to Sales and Marketing teams, develop supplier relationships, and proactively communicate supply issues to key stakeholders.
- Manage purchase orders with International and local suppliers, monitor open orders for On-Time-Delivery, and support continuous improvement of purchasing processes aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement/purchasing or a similar setting
- A background in multi-warehouse planning is favourable
- Industry experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry sector particularly within plastics would be favourable but not essential
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels of the organization
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with a focus on details
Benefits:
- Salary range $70,000 - $80,000
