Full-Time, Fixed-Term Position until 31 December 2024 Based at Western’s Campbelltown Campus About the Office of Student Experience & Marketing The Office of Student Experience & Marketing (SEM) is responsible for attracting and enrolling prospective students and optimising the students experience throughout their time at Western. About the Role The Office of Student Experience & Marketing are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Student Community Officer to join their team! The Student Community Officer is responsible for providing key support and engagement with student clubs and groups at Western, particularly technical based clubs. The position will support student groups with organising and promoting events or activities, competing in competitions; being a liaison point between student groups, School, Teaching Research and Technical Services (TRTS), and other relevant areas; and ensuring student groups are supported in terms of space and other requirements. The position will also work with WH&S to ensure appropriate risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies are in place around student group activities. Out of normal hours and weekend work may be required particularly during peak periods. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 December 2024 based at Western’s Campbelltown Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.
