Role Summary

This is a mission-critical and hands-on role focusing on the exceptional execution of Channel through marketing (MDF) and End User marketing programs, campaigns, and tactics across the ANZ market.This role is best suited to an enthusiastic marketer with a passion for fast-paced environments and a desire to build a technology marketing career in a dynamic and varied setting.

Working as part of the Asia Pacific Marketing team, completely focused on the Australian and New Zealand markets, the role is responsible for executing marketing programs and activities that will engage our audience and grow the Sophos business. This includes supporting all aspects of campaign execution, from scheduling webinars, eDMs, trade shows, sponsorships, and communications, to measuring and reporting success. The Marketing team works closely with the sales team to ensure a cohesive approach to delivering the goals for the region.

Key to this role is the ability to work closely with sales and technical teams to ensure strong alignment on execution and end-to-end partnership, facilitating an environment that enables consistent teamwork and program success, along with ensuring an optimal Channel marketing program to and through partners.

The successful candidate will likely have a demonstrable passion for channel marketing, demand generation, and marketing processes. They should be highly motivated to learn new skills within a results-driven environment. What You Will Do

  • Execute Regional Demand Generation Campaigns: Implement the APJ & Global Integrated demand generation campaigns across ANZ, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Adapt global materials for local execution, including variations in GTM execution, message, and timing.
  • Coordinate Regional Activities: Execute planned activities to meet regional business needs, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with field sales leadership and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with Regional Teams: Work closely with the regional Digital Lead, PR Lead, and SDR Manager to ensure consistency and seamless execution of activities.
  • Performance Reporting and Optimization: Regularly report and review campaign performance with key stakeholders.
  • Execute Go-To-Market Tactics: Execute all determined and agreed-upon elements of Go-To-Market tactics across ANZ, including sponsorships, trade shows, and other activities.
  • Campaign Execution: Work closely with the marketing operations team to handle all executional elements of campaigns and activities.

Regional New Logo, Channel & Go To Market ActivitiesExecute Channel Communications and Programs: Work with Channel and Country Leads to deliver effective communications 'to channel.'Optimize the MDF Channel Through Activities: Work with key partners to help them execute campaigns and activities as selected, approved, and planned from the MDF Menu.Localize Partner Programs: Adapt and implement programs to support partner recruitment, onboarding, and transactions using various communication strategies, including direct marketing, events, telemarketing, social media, and advertising.Event Execution: Be responsible for the execution of some events in ANZ, including virtual and in-person events.Webinar Program Management: Work as part of the team to execute a strong quarterly webinar program for both end-user and partner audiences, ensuring relevance across ANZ.Manage Partner Incentive Programs: Administer and execute localized promotions related to the Partner Incentive (Sophos Rewards) program, including quarterly local SPIFFs.Annual Marketing Plan Execution: Implement and manage the annual marketing plan, ensuring activities are on time, within budget, and deliver ROI.

Reporting

Performance Reporting: Utilize tools such as SFDC and Power BI to generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports on marketing activities.Provide Regular Reports: Deliver regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement.Identify Key Metrics: Work with marketing operations to identify and deliver key metrics that support the business.

What You Will Bring

  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Experience in marketing B2B solutions through both direct and indirect channels within the IT sector
  • Proven track record in implementing vendor partner programs
  • Experience in organizing events, including seminars, conferences, and training courses
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to travel freely to visit partners, agencies, and suppliers, and to organize events
  • Excellent written communication skills
