Structural Engineer

My client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer with minimum 3+ years industry experience and demonstrated work within the Australian market. The Role

As a Structural Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

• Preparation of concept and schematic designs for a variety of structures, overseeing the project from concept through to site completion.
• Undertaking detailed analysis, design computations, overseeing preparation of documentation, and assisting with site phase delivery.
• Peer review of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts.
• Co-ordination of designs with other project team consultants, architects, and clients.
• Financial oversight of projects under your direction.
• Developing and maintaining a schedule for assigned work scope and associated deliverables.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions.
• Maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends and technology in structural engineering.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Worked previously in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years experience
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• A proven track record of successful planning, concept and detailed designs of varied projects
• Strong technical skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships
• Experience working within a challenging environment
