Wellness Manager
The Wellness Manager is responsible for managing the team and day-to-day operations of the COMO Shambhala Spa as well as delivering on teh strategic opbjectives fo the brand. Key duties include:
• Lead the people through good example and being an active team player.
• Ensure all Spa team members adhere to the hotel SOPs, best practice, WHS regulations and company policy.
• To oversee the recruitment, induction, training development, appraisal and coaching of all spa staff and contractors
• Ensure a continuous training program for Spa staff to develop skills.
• Oversee all Spa operations, ensuring that sales and operational budgets, services standards and operational procedures are in place and are effectively being delivered.
• Analyse monthly financial and statistical reports prepared from the financial department using the information to grow the business (policy and operations of the Spa, competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement the sales targets set by management).
• Execute effective sales & marketing initiatives to increase business levels, capture rate, average spend and repeat clientele.
• Complete financial reports and submit financial performance overviews to the General Manager.
About you
You are a polished and expereince luxury spa leader who loves to develop your team and build a strong supportive culture. You understand the importance of ongoing training and are happy to keep your skills current, performing treatments when requires. Financially savy, you know the importance of effective rostering and scheduling and know your way around a P&L. Ideally, you have expereince working for a luxury brand and aligning the operations with the brand values and deliverables.
