Job Description Novotel Melbourne South Wharf is seeking a Night Porter who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours (11pm - 7am), providing excellent customer service to our guests. Key duties include: Be present at the Concierge/Front desk or in the lobby to assist guests, colleagues and visitors  Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage in an efficient and timely manner Assist guest with all enquiries and complaints and provide accurate information to guests about Hotel facilities and nearby attractions Monitor and respond to any emergency situations or security issues that may arise Any other duties requested by the Night Manager / Night Auditor  Qualifications Skills and experience Availability to work overnight shift from 11pm to 7am, weekends and public holidays  Previous customer service experience is preferred Self-motivated with positive and professional attitude Ability to work independently and handle multiples tasks simultaneously Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members To be success in this role, you must have rights to work for any employee in Australia.
