Who are we looking for?

GHD is establishing a program of work to progressively update technology that directly enables our Enterprise-wide approach to delivery. This work is being planned and implemented via a partnership between the Delivery Excellence team and Information Services (IS). We are looking for a Program Architect  during this critical Delivery Excellence Program (DXP) implementation

In this dynamic role you will:

Take a leading role in overseeing the program delivery of a holistic architecture
solution in accordance with approved design that supports the Delivery Excellence
Program (DXP) and is aligned to Information Services (IS) Architecture Principles

Holding the responsibility in maintaining and updating the DXP Roadmap – the
chief program planning deliverable – for each new horizon, as well as managing
downstream technology impacts on existing in-flight projects.

Work closely with the Program Manager and project managers in formulating
project scope related to relevant named initiatives

Ensuring DXP proposed system design and specifications meet the program’s
requirements and adhere to IS technical and quality standards.

Overseeing multiple simultaneous projects through design, development,
implementation and post-implementation review to ensure consistency.

Responsibility to engage closely with IS teams and leaders

 

What you will bring to the team:

Enterprise solution architecture experience across business architecture, data
architecture, applications architecture, and integration architecture

Ability to influence and facilitate with senior business and technology stakeholders

Advanced written skills, including the ability to concisely translate a large amount
of information into reports and correspondence, targeted at both technical and
non-technical audiences as needed

Ability to handle diverse situations and multiple concurrent projects

Project Management skills including progress, tracking, reporting, risk
management

Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or demonstrated
experience to meet the Key Skills and Competencies

TOGAF certification highly desirable

Minimum 3 years’ experience in comparable role

Working in large corporate environments preferred
