Job Description:

Avnet is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Online Content Writer to join our team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. This full-time position is perfect for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in content writing and digital marketing. As an entry-level role, we welcome candidates with at least 1 year of experience in content creation.

Responsibilities: - Research, write, edit, and proofread engaging and SEO-friendly content for our website, blog, social media platforms, and email campaigns - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that drive traffic and engagement - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to create relevant and timely content - Assist in developing content calendars and managing editorial schedules - Optimize content for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords and meta tags - Monitor and analyze the performance of content using analytical tools and adjust strategies accordingly - Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for content initiatives

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field - Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills - Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research tools - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting - Resourceful problem solver with a creative mindset - Familiarity with content management systems and basic HTML knowledge is a plus
