1st Year Mechanical Engineer Automotive Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships R Us is looking for multiple 1st-year Mechanical Engineer Apprentices to join the Automotive Industry in the Capalaba, QLD area!

Our mechanic roles are entry-level and do not require experience. If you do have experience, PERFECT! We have opportunities for experienced apprentices looking to continue in workshops that can give them more challenges or a change in scenery.

What is an automotive apprenticeship?

An automotive apprenticeship is a structured training program that allows individuals to gain practical experience and knowledge in the automotive industry. It combines on-the-job training with classroom-based learning to ensure that apprentices receive a well-rounded education and a comprehensive understanding of the trade.

What is a Mechanical Engineer?

As a 1st Year Mechanical Engineer Apprentice, you will embark on a journey to develop your engineering skills and gain valuable experience in the mechanical engineering field. This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and technicians on various projects and assignments. You will receive structured training, mentorship, and support to help you achieve your career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
• Support senior engineers in conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing technical reports.
• Participate in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Learn and apply engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to project planning and execution.
• Operate and maintain engineering tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.09 – $14.40 per hour
