Eastern Health
Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services and have a proud history of serving a diverse community.
Our Employee Value Proposition is “Being a part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts”.
This statement aligns with our promise to our communities, patients, consumers and staff that we will be HEALTHIER TOGETHER. Bolder than a vision for the future, our promise calls us to action. We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.
About the role
Eastern Health runs a comprehensive RACP accredited Advanced Training Program in General and Acute Care Medicine (GACM) across our 3 acute sites: Box Hill, Maroondah and Angliss Hospitals. Successful candidates can access a variety of rotations in general medicine, consultative, leadership and subspecialty roles that prepares them for the challenges of delivering holistic care in a dynamic environment. We also offer an in house education session (Fellow School) that discusses essential non-clinical skills and support trainees to present their research projects at the annual Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (IMSANZ) conference.
We welcome both trainees who are interested in GACM and subspecialty trainees who intend on dual training to apply. Please familiarise yourselves with the RACP curriculum found here:
