Employment Type: Fixed term part time, 2-year contract commencing 8 Feb 2027 (first year Graduate Program; second year Postgraduate Program)
Hours: 64 hours fortnight, AM/PM/Night shifts across Monday to Sunday roster and shifts will be dependent on teams. Shift Work is non-negotiable
Location: Werribee Mercy Hospital, Werribee Community Care Unit, Wyndham Clinic, Williams Landing Building- this list is subject to change. Rotation placements will be across different teams over multiple sites and operational hours will change accordingly

About the opportunity
Nursing Graduates are an integral part of Mercy Mental Health’s Commitment to develop our future workforce and as such, we welcome you to join our team to provide compassionate and responsive care to people in need.
Our 2-year Graduate Mental Health Nurse Program is designed to support and guide the transition from undergraduate to registered nurse with mental health speciality skills within a supportive and welcoming environment.
The aim is to promote educational opportunities to graduates as they consolidate their theoretical and clinical skills.
This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, and clinical supervision and reflective practice, which are supported by a dedicated Learning & Development Team.
