2X Health and Fitness Instructor

PRIMARY DETAIL Support our members achieve their health and fitness goals through the provision of expert advice and running of exercise programs. - 2x Part-time, Permanent roles in a friendly and supportive work environment

THE ROLE

The Health & Fitness Instructor role requires you to be customer focused at all times and use your industry expertise and training knowledge to provide exceptional service to our members in a professional and timely manner.

Duties Include:

• Drive engagement by using member retention tools and providing exceptional customer service.
• Deliver premium group training sessions, gym inductions, provide members with advice, and enforce gym etiquette.
• Perform cleaning duties as required, report maintenance issues, and complete administration tasks via CRM software.
• Assist with member enquiries and escalate complaints where necessary.
• Available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

Skills & experience

• Certificate III in Fitness or recognised tertiary education equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience as a Fitness Instructor with a proven ability for high-level exercise prescription and small group training.
• Additional accreditation in specialised programming/training desirable but not essential.
• Exercise Professional Registration.

This role requires a Working with Children Check, current First Aid & CPR. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

About Us

Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) is a multi-purpose venue. Located at Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde, our facility includes a heated indoor and outdoor pool, fully equipped health club, group fitness classes, squash courts, multi-purpose sports halls, gymnastics hall and 4 professional playing fields that cater for various university and community-based programs.
