A Grade Electrician

Woods & Co. are assisting a growing business with a massive pipeline of work beyond 2024 as they look to add professional, highly skilled A-grade electricians in the commercial space to their team. 

If you have experience doing commercial fit-outs and maintenance on projects within the fast-food or restaurant industry, this might be the role for you!

What do you do?

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting and other electrical systems.
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

What do you need?

• Data license with structured and coax endorsements.
• A split system installation/decommissioning ticket would be highly desirable.
• 5 years of Qualified Experience.
• White card.
• Scissor lift or boom ticket.
• Tech-savvy about new technology in the electrical industry.
• The ability to fault-find.
• Solve a problem quickly.
• Work independently.
