This is hire number one on the commercial team. You will not have a SDR feeding you. You will not have a polished sales playbook on day one. What you will have is a product that genuinely solves a serious and growing problem, a warm partner network, and two founders who are deeply committed to helping you succeed. What You'll Do
You'll own the full sales cycle from qualified lead to closed deal. That means running discovery calls, demoing the platform, navigating procurement across mid-market and enterprise organisations, and working with our partner network to convert warm referrals. You'll also help us sharpen our outbound playbook as we build out a repeatable motion alongside founder-led sales.
Specifically:
Run the end-to-end sales process for deals typically ranging from $15k to $40k ACV with a 2 to 3 month sales cycle
Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound, inbound, and channel partner referrals
Demo the platform to Head of Work Health and Safety, Chief People Officers, and risk and compliance leads at mid-market Australian businesses (typically 100 to 500 employees)
Partner with our network of 40+ WHS consultants and HR advisors who are already primed to refer clients
Feed insight back into the product and go-to-market team on what buyers are responding to, what they're objecting to, and where we should go next
Work directly with the co-founders through this critical growth phase
Who you are
You have strong commercial B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in compliance, HR tech, or work health and safety software
You have a track record of owning a full sales cycle, not just setting appointments or working the bottom of a funnel
You're comfortable selling to mid-market buyers across multiple stakeholders, including legal, HR, operations, and the C-suite
You are disciplined about pipeline management and documenting what you learn
You thrive without a large support structure around you and are excited by the idea of building process as you go
You genuinely care about the problem space. Our buyers are under real regulatory pressure and you need to be able to speak credibly to that
Bonus: experience selling into WHS, risk, or compliance teams in Australia; or prior experience as an early commercial hire at a startup
