ezyCollect is an Australian-founded B2B SaaS FinTech on a mission to eliminate late payments, particularly in the wholesale Food & Beverage and Wholesale Building Supplies industry. Our invoice-to-payments subscription software complements accounting/ERP softwares (such as MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP etc.) to automate the process of getting paid. We are expanding our products and services as well as our team! We are a team of ~60 across Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the Philippines, the USA and Canada. ezyCollect is driven by a passionate and dynamic team, that loves solving real business problems using the latest technology to get businesses paid on time every time. Our vision is to empower our clients to grow their businesses through integrated and faster payments, the latest and most accurate credit data and process automation.

Please note that this role is only open to candidates based in Sydney. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applicants from locations outside of Sydney.

Account Executive

As an Account Executive at ezyCollect, you'll be at the forefront of a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The Role
  • Transform Leads into Customers: Develop qualified leads and convert them into paying customers.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer pain points and demonstrate how ezyCollect can solve their problems.
  • Engaging Presentations: Showcase the value of ezyCollect through online or in-person demonstrations.
  • Proposal Preparation: Craft compelling proposals that align with customer needs and highlight our value proposition.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Business Analysis: Analyse business models, sales processes, and accounting procedures of mid-market organisations.
  • Sales Strategy Collaboration: Work with the sales team to develop effective closing strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the revenue team to enhance our sales development process and lead quality
  • Product & Technical Communication: Liaise with our product & technical team to keep them informed of new feature requests and customisations.
The Ideal Candidate

Must-Have Experience:
  • Min. more than 2 years in a similar consultative selling role with previous BDR/cold calling experience.
  • Background in a SaaS environment.
  • Tech-savviness, with experience in CRM software like HubSpot.
  • Versatile with productivity and AI tools.
  • Proven ability to lead simple, and if need be complex, negotiations, involving bespoke commercial agreements.
  • Strong presentation skills, for in-person and virtual meetings with multiple stakeholders such as CFOs, Financial Controllers, as well as technical teams.
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
Good-To-Have Experience:
  • Finance or business-related background.
  • Experience with fintech, ideally with accounting B2B and payments technology.
  • Experience selling to or working for wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing sectors.
Desirable Skills:
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • Strong work ethic, diligence, and resilience.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organisational, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Skilled in analysing business opportunities and situational dynamics.
  • Data-driven decision-making and persuasive skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
