GSK Insurance Brokers are a major WA based insurance broker providing professional, innovative advice and service to our commercial and domestic clients. We handle all general classes of insurance and our client base spans a diverse range of industries.
We are seeking an Account Executive to play a key role in the day to day management of a portfolio of Corporate & Commercial clients and you will be given high levels of autonomy and responsibility to make this role your own.
You will liaise with clients and underwriters by phone and email, whilst providing first class support to our Clients.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Customer service focused with a passion for impressing new and existing clients
- Processing new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Respond to enquiries and requests for action from Account Manager.
- Responding to client and underwriter requests and enquiries.
- Negotiating terms with underwriters.
- Generating quotations
- Providing high levels of service to our clients
- Processing of our broking system – Insight
- Some debtor management will be required
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Relevant experience within the Insurance Broking Industry
- Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualification – essential
- Be organised, dependable and have strong attention to detail
- Self motivated with the ability to work effectively without supervision
- Skilled in written and verbal communication that allows you to quickly and clearly create documentation and correspondence that supports the business needs of the team
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office, broking systems, and business insurance systems
- Energetic, confident and organised, capable of managing multiple responsibilities autonomously
