Account Executive - sales and Business Development

SMAART Recruitment is working with a leading SaaS and Mar-Tech company who is big on helping small to medium size businesses win all over the globe. The unique platform allows businesses to take care of almost all of their business needs from marketing to payments, and A.I to communications which free up time for businesses to focus on what they do best, their business. Due to consistent growth (Head count has grown 100% YoY since they launched in Australia back in 2021) they are now seeking some new Account Executives to join the team. As an Account Executive you will be reaching out to SMB/E clients to discuss their SaaS business, marketing and communication needs and ultimately get them to sign up to the market leading platform.  You will be doing this through a 360 approach, you bring your Sales and Account Management experience, they will help with product training and topping you up with leads set by their SDRs. About the role and position:

  • B2B Sales to SMBs
  • Industry and Business agonistic, you can sell in to any vertical - from retail to automotive to health and finance
  • Full product training and support from their local and international teams 
  • Fast sales cycle (30% of clients sign on the first call)
  • Subscription based model

  • Full time permanent position
  • Generous uncapped commission with a realistic OTE of $165k in your first year (This is what 80% of Account Executives have made or exceeded in year 1)

What we are looking for:
  • Proven B2B Sales and Business Development experience in the SaaS, Tech or Marketing space 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
  • Experience in selling a SaaS, Tech or Marketing Services
