The Opportunity

Metalcorp is looking for an Account Manager at our branch based in Dubbo. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.  Are you someone who understands life on the land? Maybe you’ve grown up in a farming family, worked in agribusiness, or simply know how important trust and respect are in rural communities. If so, this role could be your chance to turn that background into a rewarding career.  As someone with a genuine connection to farming or rural life, you understand the challenges and opportunities it brings.

What Will You Do?

Partnering with customers, ensuring they receive the service, support, and products they need to keep their operations running smoothly, you will:

• play a lead role in preparing proposals, quotes, and tenders for new and existing business
• building genuine, long-term relationships with our customers and industry experts
• being the reliable go-to when someone needs advice, gear, or support
• working closely with a hands-on team who back each other

More About You

We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable talking to people as they are working on a sales strategy.  You’ll bring:

• experience developing and delivering targeted sales and growth strategies
• strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to connect with people at all levels
• success in managing commercial relationships and driving business growth
• an eye for pricing, margin, and profitability
