About the Role

Reporting to Manufacturing Management, this onsite day shift role is based at our Chirnside Park site.

As our Plant Operator, you will:

Operating and maintaining machinery: Set up, adjust, and run automated and manual equipment to meet production schedules and targets, primarily in our Epoxy Mixing and Filling Plant.

Quality assurance: Perform checks and lab tests to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.

Safety leadership: Follow WHS procedures, report hazards promptly, and actively contribute to a positive safety culture.

Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identify and resolve machine issues quickly to minimise downtime and maintain reliability.

Continuous improvement: Participate in ITW initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, including 5S and housekeeping standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members and leadership to achieve operational goals and uphold ITW’s values of integrity, simplicity, trust, and respect.

What You’ll Bring

• Skills in mixing, filling, dispensary, and pre-weighing processes.
• Forklift Licence desirable
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and high-performance culture.
• Ability to set up, adjust, and operate automated and manual machinery.
• PPE and Health Monitoring is required for this position.
• Basic QC/QA and lab experience, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
