Job Description - Account Manager

With consistent deal flow and an established presence in the Sydney CBD, this organisation is focused on quality lending over volume, providing exposure to more complex and rewarding scenarios.
Your new role
As an Account Manager, you will work closely with experienced brokers to manage lending deals end-to-end, acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the process and beyond. This role offers a strong balance of client interaction and technical lending work, making it ideal for someone looking to step deeper into a broking environment.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to settlement and ongoing annual reviews
  • Structure and package residential and investment loan applications
  • Assess income, serviceability, and financial documents (including self-employed scenarios)
  • Submit deals via aggregator platforms and liaise with lenders (primarily major banks)
  • Order valuations and manage applications through to settlement
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in residential lending (bank or brokerage)
  • Strong understanding of serviceability, credit policy, and loan structuring
  • Experience working with or alongside mortgage brokers (highly regarded)
  • Professional communication skills and a client-first approach
