Account Manager

Role: Account Manager  

Location: Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton, North Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone  

Type: Part Time – 3 days a week 

About the Role  

As an Account Manager at I-MED Radiology Network, your role will focus on driving sales revenue growth and expanding our market share by fostering strong relationships with current and future referrers. You will be responsible for promoting the value of our services, managing territory-specific sales plans, and delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will feed valuable market intelligence back to the business to inform future strategies and ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction. 

What You’ll Do  

• Drive Sales Growth: Build referrer relationships to achieve regional revenue and procedure targets through targeted outreach and exceptional service. 


• Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to implement and regularly review territory plans, capitalising on opportunities and addressing competition. 


• Build Customer Relationships: Maintain strong partnerships with referrers, allied health professionals, and key stakeholders to grow referrals and represent I-MED Network. 


• Enhance Communication: Facilitate effective communication between referrers, Radiologists, and clinic teams to improve service delivery and customer engagement. 


• Manage Territory Performance: Use Salesforce to measure referrer activity, monitor sales and procedure performance, and identify growth opportunities. 


• Monitor Clinics and Competitors: Maintain knowledge of clinic services, pricing, and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing strategies. 


• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with clinic leaders, Regional Managers, and Account Managers to support teamwork and high-quality service delivery. 


• Commit to Professional Development: Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously develop sales and healthcare service skills. 

Key requirements: 

• At least 2 years of proven success in a sales role, ideally within healthcare 


• Ability to quickly learn technical information 


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills 


• Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to overcome challenges, manage setbacks, and remain motivated in a target-driven environment 


• Experience using sales information management software (Salesforce desirable) 


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 


• Availability to work occasional weekends and after-hours, with travel to Brisbane approximately three times per year. 


• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
