Job Description - Account Manager (IT Recruitment Services)

We are hiring an Account Manager to manage and grow our IT recruitment accounts in Australia.

This role is for someone with a mindset to win — a person who takes ownership, thinks creatively, builds strong personal relationships with clients, and consistently drives results.

You will work closely with our recruitment team to deliver fast, high-quality hiring outcomes, while ensuring clients receive strong value and ROI for their recruitment agency spend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers, HR, TA, Procurement, and contractors
  • Take a proactive and consultative approach to client engagement and hiring delivery
  • Develop strong market understanding across IT skill areas, talent trends, rates, and hiring demand
  • Drive recruitment delivery outcomes across contract and permanent hiring requirements
  • Manage targets, delivery performance, pipeline health, and closure outcomes
  • Ensure urgency, accountability, and strong follow-up across the recruitment lifecycle
  • Work closely with recruiters to improve delivery quality, speed, and interview conversions
  • Drive performance and accountability within the delivery team to achieve hiring targets
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts, expand hiring volumes, and strengthen client partnerships
  • Contribute commercially through account growth, retention, and consistent delivery performance
  • Manage contractor relationships including engagement, issue resolution, retention, and ongoing communication
  • Maintain accurate CRM/ATS updates, reporting, and pipeline visibility
  • Represent Zone IT Solutions professionally across enterprise and government client environments

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, target-driven, and solution-focused mindset
  • Experience in IT recruitment/staffing account management or delivery leadership
  • Strong market awareness and commercial thinking
  • Ability to manage teams, priorities, and delivery performance in fast-paced environments
  • High ownership, accountability, and execution discipline
  • Experience working with Australian or international clients is an advantage
