About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across the business, Swanson Industries have created a new role for a motivated and personable Account Manager to join the team in Lambton.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, this role will see you combining your mechanical technical knowledge and your enjoyment of working with people to service existing customers and drive new business growth.

Your Tasks

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer related matters.
• Develop strong relationships to achieve long term partnerships.
• Handle all technical enquiries and support customer needs.
• Develop appropriate call cycle and marketing plans.
• Support internal sales with quotes/purchase orders/expediting.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings.
• Up sell / cross sell and expand our current customer footprint.
• Monitor accounts and ensure services are received within budget and on time.
• Travel to meet with clients throughout the Greater Hunter Valley region.

About You

• Relevant industry experience.
• Either a Fitter/Machinist by trade looking to step into a sales role and/or an established Account Manager within a related field.
• Effective communication skills and an enjoyment of developing strong working relationships.
• Able to meet deadlines and multitask.
• Strong logical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRMs and related systems.
