Job Description - Accountant

This renowned ASX services is a genuine industry leader in the Australian market. Their service offering is diverse within their sector, and they have been on a significant growth journey through acquisition in the last few years. This is a superb opportunity for an Accountant to develop under the tutelage of a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager.

The Role
  • Complete consolidated month-end reporting and provide variance analysis
  • Involvement in external audit process and assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Assist with group income tax return
  • Complete month end tasks such as journal preparation, reconciliations, financial analysis and commentary for reporting packs

Your Skills
  • Completed relevant degree in commerce or similar and either CPA/CA qualified or part way through
  • It is an advantage if you have experience in a medium to large business commercial business or are coming from audit/business services in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
  • Ideally you come with some exposure to preparing financial statements and providing variance analysis insights
  • Capability to problem solve, work effectively under deadlines, and collaborate with a broad of personnel in finance & other departments
