The Opportunity 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly reputable ASX listed funds management company, who have an excellent track record with over $6 billion in assets under management. They have successfully expanded nationally and further accelerated growth is expected in the short-term. 

This Accountant position has become available due to accelerated growth in the business and internal promotions. Reporting into an impressive Finance Manager, this is a broad role involving financial reporting, management reporting and FP&A whilst working alongside a stellar finance team. 

The Challenge
 
An exciting and challenging role and reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Assist in preparing the annual Fund and Corporate budgets and reforecasts
• Month end Fund and Corporate accounting including journals, reconciliations, analysis and commentary against budget and prior period comparatives
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly board papers and distribution process across the Funds.
• Raise monthly Investment Management, Accounting and Trustee Fee invoices to the Funds.
• Preparation of quarterly banking covenant reporting obligations

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Ideally, you are a part qualified CA first mover from business services or public practice, with property clients 
• Possibly, you are an Assistant Accountant working in the property, real estate or funds management sector
• A strong work ethic and ability to multitask, whilst having strong written and verbal communication skills
