Qualifications & experience
- Degree qualified [commerce, business, accounting]
- CPA or seeking CPA qualification
- a problem solving mindset
- good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and work in a small interdependent team
- strong time management and personal organizational skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting Senior Accountants with the completion of income tax returns and financial statements
- Assisting and liaising with clients to either prepare and lodge or assist clients with completion of Business Activity Statements
- Assist with the completion of Fringe Benefits Tax Returns
- conduct research and assist with the provision of technical advice to clients as and when required
- assist with the provision of commercial and financial advice to clients. This could include; purchase and sale of businesses, internal restructures of business groups, estate and succession planning, business valuations etc
