Accountant - Process Improvement

For this newly created role, you will review existing transactional finance processes and implement automation and improvements in various areas. You will work across finance, procurement and operations teams.

Description

• Assist the Financial Controller in identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Provide assistance to accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist in the automation of the credit card process.
• Assisting in the management of cash flow and bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

Profile

• The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual and make this newly created role their own.
• You are a motivated individual with the ability to demonstrate initiative and communicate with senior leadership and across various arms of the business.
• Tertiary qualifications in relevant field (Commerce/Accounting)
• Oracle experience would be highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong use of Microsoft Excel functions.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
