Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a highly motivated team, we are excited to be recruiting for this role that will be responsible for;

• Lead end-to-end financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Support the Financial Controller in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insights to drive business decisions
• Oversee and monitor offshore Shared Services (AP, AR, and Financial Reporting teams)
• Manage month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting deliverables
• Coordinate external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors
• Ensure compliance through execution and oversight of SOX controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen governance and streamline processes
• Oversee tax compliance activities including BAS, income tax reporting, and transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with regional tax teams
• Partner with HR to ensure payroll processes are effectively managed and compliant
• Lead credit management activities, including monitoring debt, managing complex accounts, and ensuring DSO targets are achieved
• Collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to support financial performance, growth, and profitability

Ideal candidate

You’re a commercially astute and detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. You bring a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement mindset. Key skills and experience include:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA qualification preferred
• Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis within a complex organisation
• Proven experience managing or overseeing teams, including shared service environments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal/external reporting requirements
• Experience with SOX controls and governance frameworks (highly regarded)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) and exposure to reporting and planning tools such as OneStream or similar systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights in financial data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across local and global teams
