About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Officer to join our Finance team. This role involves handling accounts payable, payroll, and credit card processing, as well as month-end tasks to support KARI's financial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate accounts payable, including invoice processing and supplier management.
  • Process fortnightly payroll, superannuation, and salary sacrifice.
  • Manage credit card processing and reconciliations, liaising with stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with month-end tasks, including bank and account reconciliations.
  • Provide support during annual audits and assist with financial reports.

Requirements

  • National Criminal Record Check.
  • Valid NSW Working with Children’s Check – Paid Worker.
  • Valid NSW Driver’s License – minimum Provisional 2 (or equivalent).

Skills and Experience

  • 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, or a similar role.
  • CPA qualified or working towards full CPA qualifications.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using an ERP system (TechnologyOne is an advantage).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
