The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting tasks, including weekly, monthly and ad hoc invoice payment runs and accounts receivable
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements through meticulous reconciliation processes
• Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Prepare financial reports and analyse to identify insights and trends
• Actively participate in refining and optimising internal accounting procedures
• Provide back up Receptionist support
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance role (graduates with relevant internships will also be considered)

• Experience with MS Dynamics and ConnectWise desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team setting
