Accounts Officer - Generous Compensation

We are a leader in the Fire and Essential Services Industry to Owners Corporations, Facilities and Commercial Real Estate Managers and are looking to add a key person to our ever growing and developing accounts department. 

Linkfire provides services to over 8,500 buildings throughout Melbourne, the greater Victoria region and Newcastle in NSW. We are a true one stop shop and employee a team of over 90 staff members.

Our business is looking for a permanent, Full Time/Part Time Accounts Officer with a proactive nature, who will enjoy a fast paced, ever changing environment. Flexible hours will be considered for the right applicant.  

Responsibilities may include:  

• Accounts Receivable including invoice generation for both fixed billing and do and charge, daily reconciliations and issuing of credit notes
• Following up outstanding invoices
• Investigating payment and billing queries
• Responding to client account enquiries via phone and email
• Accounts Payable including processing supplier invoices, petty cash reconciliation and preparation and processing of payroll
• Maintaining customer and supplier records
• Developing rapport with our loyal clients
• Developing a rapport with all Linkfire team members

As a key member of the accounts team you will work closely with our Finance Team and communicate regularly with all business stakeholders, so great communication skills, a proactive nature and eagerness to learn will ensure success in the role. 

The Essentials 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

• Positive attitude to providing great customer service and assisting the team 
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A professional phone manner
• Exceptional attention to detail 
• Resilient and ability to work under pressure 
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Previous experience in a service based industry
• Previous experience in a accounts payable position 
• Working experience with Xero (preferred)
