Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Officer - Hiring Fast

Fresh Select is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing finance team that supports Fresh Select and its subsidiaries. Your primary role will be to manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations. 

Responsibilities:

• Performing weekly payment runs for all entities in the group
• On-boarding of new suppliers and customers and maintaining master data in accounting system
• Performing data entry for the supplier and customer invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Reconciliations – supplier, customer and bank
• Managing customer claims, and monitoring and resolving discrepancies
• Performing sales and purchase transfers into accounting system
• Input of intercompany transactions 
• Managing department invoices including transfers to accounting systems and corresponding reconciliations
• Providing feedback for process/systems improvements
• Providing relevant AP information to support reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Supporting the finance team with the month-end process by closing off transactions in a timely manner and providing required information

What you'll need to succeed:

• Strong work history in an end-to-end accounts payable role, preferably with a large ERP system
• Proactive attitude with an aptitude for process improvement
• High level organisational and time management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Competent MS Office suite skills
• Ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously
• Build and maintain effective relationships
• Flexible and adaptable
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
