Accounts Payable Clerk

Air Diffusion is a large South Australian-based wholesaler and manufacturer of Air Conditioning products with ten locations around Australia.

Located in Lonsdale, we are seeking a Full-time Payables Clerk to join our Accounts Team. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn from senior accounts staff who will provide full training.

Key duties will include:

• Processing Accounts Payable tasks and general accounting duties.
• Ensuring goods and services received match supplier invoices.
• Reconcile supplier statements at end of month.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Maintain supplier accounts including creating, closing, and updating information.
• Create purchase orders using requisition form, approving based on stock levels and sales history.
• Providing a backup processing function for accounts receivable as required. 

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• 2+ years of accounts experience, preferably in Accounts payable.
• High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
