In your new role, you will, with guidance and supervision, undertake accounts payable duties to ensure accurate accounting records for Kubota Australia and New Zealand. This role is offered on a 2-year FT contract.
Key accountabilities include, but not limited to:
Undertake accounts payable duties to meet all required deadlines and confidentiality standards, including processing of transactions, banking, settlements processes, documentation/contact follow-ups and document management/record keeping
Undertake compliance duties as instructed, such as but not limited to; document management, record keeping and audit/reconciliation of team work items
Undertake processing and follow up activity in relation to company credit card facility/s particularly in relation to team member reconciliations and related processes
Undertake expense/cash claims processing
Raise general ledger journals to effect duties, as required
With instruction and guidance, prepare a range of reconciliations, schedules, summaries and basic reports as required by management, to schedule or ad hoc/as required
With instruction, undertake duties and tasks to support audit/s
Other tasks, within the limits of skills and ability, as assigned from time to time
To be successful, your resume would look something like:
Completion of secondary education. Studying toward tertiary qualification in accounting/similar (preferred)
Exposure to Accounts Payable/similar position
Administration, data entry and document management/record keeping experience
Exposure to raising general ledger journals and an understanding of accounting records requirements in relation to an Accounts Payable function
Proven experience in undertaking reconciliation and preparing basic reports/schedules/summaries
High levels of attention to retail and accuracy whilst working with substantial volumes of transaction
Proven effective time management skills and prioritisation
Proven experience in ensuring confidentiality of dealings and documentation
Effective oral and written communication skills
Well developed interpersonal and relationship management
Intermediate computing skills, including MS excel. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) exposure (preferred). Exposure to one or more Accounts Payable (enterprise grade) applications (preferred)
Ability to work with direction and autonomously, with demonstrated commitment and application to work tasks
