Accounts Payable Officer

Our company operates in the Waste Management industry. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to work in our Bayswater office. The role involves:

1. Entering of suppliers invoices, checking for accuracy and matching to purchase orders
2. Batching invoices for management approval and payment
3. Checking invoices to suppliers statements
4. Monthly reconciliation of Accounts Payables 
5. Deal with suppliers and contractors for any accounts issues.
6. Monitor accounts to ensure they are up to date
7. Manage vendor files and credit application files
8. Assist the Finance team when required
9. Check credit card payments against end of month statements

You will have the following attributes:

1. 1 year experience in a similar role
2. Accuracy and attention to detail
3. Ability to work autonomously and meeting deadlines
4. Good verbal and written communication skills
5. Work accountability and reliability
6. Show initiative to take responsibility
7. MYOB, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access experience is essential
