Job Description - Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

 

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable data, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors, and providing excellent customer service. 

This role would suit an energetic team player who is an experienced accounts payable professional looking for their next challenge.


Responsibilities

  • Processing large volumes of invoices and Credit notes.
  • Maintains data in related payment, reconciliation and accounting systems with integrity and accuracy.
  • Completes payments, related journals, account reconciliation and reports for major suppliers 
  • Liaising with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities 

About you

  • Previous experience in full function high volume Accounts Payable role
  • Possess sound ability with Intermediate level of MS Suite 
  • Experience using D365, AS400, and CAAPS (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and a professional and courteous manner
