The company was founded in 2002 and quickly grew to become the largest music accounting firm in Australia. For two decades they have been the industry leader, working with Australia’s biggest entertainment names, both on stage and behind the scenes. The company prides itself on providing a vibrant and friendly work environment with a strong focus on teamwork. Due to dynamic company growth, they are looking for a confident, results-driven person with a keen eye for detail to take on an Accounts Payable Officer position to join their Collingwood office.

The Position…

In this position, you will complete various aspects of the banking function for several brands and music industry businesses.

Specific job tasks include:

• processing domestic and international supplier and payroll payments (using local and overseas banks and foreign platforms);
  


• client bank account maintenance; and
  


• assisting clients and company staff with banking enquiries, including the opening of bank and credit card accounts.
  

Your working hours will be 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 3+ years of banking or accounts payable experience in a commercial environment.
  


• Experience in using digital banking platforms such as Airwallex, Combiz, Westpac.
  


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  


• Exceptional attention to detail.
  


• Have a positive and professional attitude.
  


• A determined, results-driven work ethic.
  


• Any music/creative industry knowledge (or interest in music) is also highly valued.
  


• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
