Gunn Agri Partners was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American, and European investors. Gunn Agri manages $800m of assets and commitments managed by the following platforms:

• Gunn Agri Cattle Fund incorporating Cunningham Cattle Co investing in northern cattle production.
• Wollemi Farms, investing in permanent crop assets such as macadamias, avocados and stone fruit.
• Transforming Farming incorporating Faulkner Farming and investing in cropping and livestock farms and developing natural assets such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity.
• Wilga Farming Australia investing in cropping and livestock farms and developing natural assets such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity.

As manager Gunn Agri has oversight of the operating platforms. The platforms have their own teams of property managers employed by the operating companies (i.e. Faulkner Farming, Wilga Farming, Cunningham Cattle Co).

The position of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for primarily the accounts payable function. It also covers a diverse range of tasks such as accounts receivable and extending to support the financial accounting function with bank reconciliations, reporting and month end close off processes as required. The position reports to the Financial Controller and will work closely with Farm Managers in various interstate locations.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience the accounts payable function from setting up supplier credit applications, data entry of invoices matching to purchase orders, processing of payment runs in a timely manner.
• Experience with Xero is preferred but not essential.
• Professional communication skills, verbal and written to follow up internal and external queries.
• Knowledge of the accounts receivable function and or willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills to ensure the upkeep of filing systems.
• Superior data entry, time management and prioritisation skills with a high attention to detail.
• Be self-starting and motivated, with ability to work to deadlines.
• A Certificate in Finance/Bookkeeping or higher will be highly regarded.
• Have an interest in or previously worked in agriculture/livestock. 
• Strong team orientation and the ability to work autonomously.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft office.
